Log into your account
The process for logging into your Tech Centurylink account will vary depending on whether you are logging in as a residential or business customer.
For residential customers, you will need to enter your username and password on the Tech Centurylink homepage. If you have forgotten your password, you can click the “Forgot Password” link and follow the instructions to reset it.
For business customers, you will need to enter your username and password on the Business Tech Centurylink homepage. If you have forgotten your password, you can click the “Forgot Password” link and follow the instructions to reset it.
Click on the “My Services” tab
If you’re a Centurylink customer, you can find out where your tech is by clicking on the “My Services” tab. From there, you’ll see a list of all the services you have with us, including your tech support.
Click on the “Internet” tab
Click on the “Internet” tab in the upper-left corner of the page, then click on the “Modem & Router Status” link in the drop-down menu. On the next page, click on the “Check My Modem & Router Status” button. CenturyLink will automatically check your equipment and tell you if everything is working properly.
Scroll down to the “Service Address” section
In the “Service Address” section, scroll down to the “Street Address” field and enter your street address. Then, enter your city and state or ZIP code in the fields provided. Finally, click the “Look Up Address” button.
Click on the “Update” button
If you need to update the CenturyLinkWiFi router’s firmware, you can do so by following these steps:
1.Connect to the CenturyLinkWiFi network.
2.Open a web browser and enter “192.168.0.1” in the address bar. This will take you to the router’s web-based interface.
3.Enter your router’s username and password when prompted. These are usually “admin” and “password”, but may be different depending on your router’s model and configuration.
4.Once logged in, click on the “Firmware” or “Update” button. This will take you to the page where you can update the router’s firmware.
5.Click on the “Browse” button and select the firmware file that you downloaded earlier.
6.Once the file has been selected, click on the “Update” or “Upgrade” button to begin the update process. Depending on your router’s model, this process may take a few minutes to complete
Enter your new address in the “Street Address” field
To find out which services are available at your new address, enter your new address in the “Street Address” field. If you’re not sure which services are available in your area, call 1-877-638-6988 and a customer service representative can help you.
Enter your new city in the “City” field
If you are moving to a new home in a new city, you will need to enter your new address into the “City” field on the website. This will ensure that your service is properly routed to your new home.
Enter your new state in the “State” field
If you’re a CenturyLink customer moving to a new state, you’ll need to enter your new state in the “State” field on the account page in order to view pricing and plans available in your area.
Enter your new zip code in the “Zip Code” field
If you’re moving to a new home, you’ll need to change your CenturyLink service address. You can do this online by signing in to your CenturyLink account. Once you’ve signed in, click the “My Services” tab at the top of the page. Then, under the “My Services” heading, click the “Change Address” link.
On the next page, enter your new zip code in the “Zip Code” field and click the “Continue” button. From there, you’ll be able to select your new service address and confirm your changes. Once you’ve made your changes, be sure to click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
Click on the “Update Address” button
Click on the “Update Address” button and enter your new address.
