The Texas Tech men’s basketball team represents Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, United States in NCAA Division I men’s basketball competition. The Red Raiders currently compete in the Big 12 Conference.

As of 2018, the Red Raiders have made 44 postseason appearances, with 39 bowl game appearances and five trips to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Championship. In 1956, the team defeated Syracuse University to win its first ever bowl game appearance. Texas Tech’s football teams compete at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas.
